This page covers guidelines for those participating in meetups hosted by @koreanamericanbruh ("SNAP") 

Please periodically check for updates as the content below may change at any time.


Requirements to participate in meetups

  • Follow on Instagram and/or TikTok
  • All non-IRL followers who wish to participate must join one of both Discord servers in advance and have no active penalties - Click here for more information
  • Additionally, participants must agree to appear on SNAP's content and complete the required media release form which can be requested for via Instagram DM by typing the following hashtag: #meetups

Participants are also strongly recommended to follow on SOOP and must finish signing up in advance. Visitors should be aware that sign-up after arriving in Korea requires a Korean mobile phone number linked to a Korean government-issued ID (ARC, Korean drivers license, etc.), whereas users overseas may register using a foreign mobile number. While it may be possible to use a VPN in Korea, doing so could result in SOOP account restrictions or bans; please proceed at your own risk.


OG's, IRL and semi-IRL followers may be subject to different conditions.



Definitions of followers
  • Non-IRL A.K.A. most followers - Followed SNAP online (via the first platform through which the user initially discovered)...
    • prior to any offline interaction or 
    • immediately upon/after a brief unplanned encounter, without an existing real-world connection
  • Semi-IRL - Connected through shared offline mutual contacts, where online engagement included individuals already linked to him in real-world social networks.
  • IRL 
    • Offline connections prior to discovering his online profile or 
    • Certain existing online connections that later became an offline connection through close mutual ties (e.g., family or immediate circles), despite the initial point of contact being online
  • OG'S
    • Early and long-standing followers who have consistently followed SNAP over time.
